Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and advancement of Bluegrass Land Conservancy’s land protection, conservation, and stewardship programs
  • Assist the Director of Conservation with drafting easement agreements and all necessary documentation such as mortgage subordination, organization consent documents, reviewing title work and due diligence documents
  • Prepare Baseline Documentation Reports, including written, photo, GPS documentation, and GIS mapping
  • Assist with easement enforcement and compliance issues, annual easement monitoring in compliance with LTA Standards and Practices

 

Past Experience

Previously, Nicole has worked as a paralegal at a plaintiff’s firm. She has also worked on organic farms as an apprentice, where her interest in land protection and conservation blossomed. Nicole also has experience as a research assistant and as a Board Fellow at a nonprofit organization in Vermont.
