Mary M. Lowry
Mary Lowry graduated from Lake Erie College with a degree in Equine Studies and Photojournalism and moved to Kentucky from Maryland. She turned her passion and adoration of everything equine into a career. Teaching, travelling, competing, and training with the best in the world allowed me to make the acquaintances and understand the business of “horses”. She acquired her real estate license in 2008 she realized she could combine her love of farms, houses and interaction with people into a second career working for Wakefield Reutlinger. She stays very connected to the horse world.
Mary manages properties and farms, including Bluegrass Land Conservancy protected Flying Cross Farm in Goshen, home of a nationally recognized horse trials and host to many clinics and competitions throughout the year. She travels teaching clinics as well as teaches at her farm in Skylight, Alta Vista. Mary serves on the board of Bluegrass Land Conservancy in addition to volunteering with other local organizations that focuses on greenspace, education, social justice and horses. In her “free time” she loves to work on houses, travel, make furniture, and enjoy her grandkids.
